Annoncé à Wigan pendant le mercato qui se termine ce soir à minuit, Pape Bouba Diop devrait rester à Fulham sauf revirement express de dernière minute selon son entraineur Chris Coleman et son entourage.
Fulham manager Chris Coleman does not expect midfielder Papa Bouba Diop to be leaving the club before the transfer window closes.
Wigan have agreed a fee with the Cottagers for the Senegal star who has endured a frustrating season with injuries.
"I don't think he will be going to Wigan unless something drastic happens," said Coleman.
"I don't see him going anywhere, but football being football, there might be something last minute.
"He has said he wants to stay with us and fight for his place, which is good news."
Wigan boss Paul Jewell said: "We really want the player to come. We just have to give him as much of a chance to sort things out with Fulham as possible."
Diop’s representatives are also said to be happy with the deal but it is just the player’s lack of desire to move to the JJB Stadium that is preventing the transfer from going through.
